To the woman my husband loves; if you’re reading this it must be true..he loves you, beyond a shadow of a doubt or else he wouldn’t have given this to you. I can only hope that you feel the same way about him as he does about you. But I wanted to write you a letter because I wanted you to know one very, very important thing..I’m so glad he’s found you. I only wish I could be there somehow to meet you, maybe in some ways..I am. Outside of my husband and my two beautiful children, you are the most important person in the world to me. Because I’m gone and they’re yours now .. take care of them.

stefan + being the better brother

The thing is though, if anyone had a right to act like a dick it was Stefan but nope, instead he finds it within himself to be happy for his brother. Damon took advantage of a time that his brother was out saving his life to move in on his girlfriend. He didn’t acknowledge that his little brother had literally sacrificed everything to save his life, instead he just used that time as an opportunity (and I quote) to “steal her from him fair and square”. He was and still is more than willing to strip his brother of the only piece of happiness he has for his own selfish gain and somehow I’m supposed to care about this character? These writers are on drugs.
